In observance of Juneteenth, we’ll be rescheduling our Community Networking Luncheon originally planned for Wednesday, June 19th.
Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were informed of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s a day to honor Black history, reflect on the struggle for freedom and justice, and recognize the ongoing work toward equity.
Out of respect for this important day, we’re taking a pause and will announce a new date for the luncheon soon.
